History is alive and well in Winthrop, Maine and you can be part of it! Your membership dues provide an important method of support even if you are unable to be actively involved. If you are interested in more direct participation, consider being a WMHS Board or committee member; contribute historical artifacts and family items; attend or lead historical programs; make a financial donation; or participate in a special event. Membership in the Winthrop Maine Historical Society is open to anybody with an interest in the history of Winthrop, Maine. With your $15 per year donation you may attend the member appreciation events and receive 10% off full price Gift Shop items! Your membership and donations help support the mission and may be tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Business meetings are held monthly at 6pm on the 1st Thursday of each month at the Winthrop Heritage Center, January – November.
